One of the worst things you can have on a credit report.

If Unpaid, a Tax Lien may report on a credit file forever.

Once Paid, Tax Liens can report for a decade after payment!

Paying them does not automatically mean that they will report as such!  You have to get the release to the reporting agency, usually your Count Clerk.

They are a lot better at reporting liens than releases, imagine that!

There is only one kind of good tax lien, and that's the one that is deleted, removed, or erased, just a bad memory.

But  there is no need to wait that long with CCFG on your side.

We have had clients that had unpaid $3.8 million Federal Tax Liens, CCFG processed their reports, removing the IRS liens. This raised their credit scores, enabling refinancing of a bit of real estate. With the refinance funds, they were able to settle the outstanding liens for $1.0 million in a lump sum settlement. The fact that the liens were on a Credit Report prevented the Taxpayer from settling an offer in compromise situation.

We had another large Client that had been in offer in compromise for years on a $1.49 million lien. After we removed the lien, he got a release from the I.R.S.
